Developmental Edits are the most detailed edits available and involve a deep look at the manuscript. It frequently includes suggestions on rearranging, adding, or cutting portions of text, and will recommend solutions for problematic areas, such as identifying any "holes" in the manuscript.

Deliverables for a Developmental Edit:

An Editorial Letter discussing overall impressions of your manuscript, including strengths and weaknesses.

A marked-up manuscript (using Track Changes so you can accept/reject any editorial recommendations).
